50+ Years of Real-World Health & Fitness Experience
Health and fitness haven’t been a phase in my life — they’ve been a constant.
For more than five decades, I’ve trained, competed, coached, and studied the connection between weight loss, nutrition, strength, and performance. I continue to train aggressively 5 to 6 days per week, because I believe leadership in fitness starts with personal discipline.
I’ve coached youth athletes, adult competitors, and seniors focused on mobility, strength, and longevity. And just as importantly, I’ve navigated my own lifelong journey with weight management.
Because maintaining your weight isn’t a one-time victory — it’s an ongoing strategy.
When It All Started
At 13 years old, I was already competing as a high school athlete. I grew rapidly to six foot three and weighed 186 pounds. Back then, I could eat almost anything without concern. I’d sit at the lunch table asking friends, “Are you going to eat that?” — and usually meant it.
Then my growth stopped.
But my eating habits didn’t.
My weight climbed to 210 pounds, and I learned something that shaped the rest of my life: performance goals and body composition must be managed intentionally. From that point forward, nutrition became strategic. Balance replaced assumption.
That lesson never left me.
The Athlete. The Coach. The Lifelong Practitioner
I was never paid for coaching. However, over the years, I’ve coached children, including my own, developing athletic fundamentals. Adults pursuing strength and conditioning goals, including my friends and relatives, and seniors working to preserve mobility, muscle, and independence.
Across every age group, one principle remains consistent:
- Diet fuels performance.
- Strength protects metabolism.
- Consistency sustains results.
Health, speed, strength, agility, and nutrition are inseparable. I’ve seen it in youth development. I’ve seen it in adult competitors. And I’ve seen it in seniors who simply want to move better and live stronger.
And I live it personally — training intensely multiple days each week to maintain strength, conditioning, and metabolic resilience.

Real Health for the Long Haul
My mission is simple: To bridge the gap between athletic performance and sustainable weight management. After five decades in the trenches, I’ve seen every fad diet and fitness trend come and go. I don’t believe in “quick fixes” that disappear in thirty days. I believe in developing the speed, strength, and agility necessary for a vibrant life, backed by a nutritional balance that respects your love for food.
The Ultimate Goal: Longevity
I believe the secret to a successful life of weight management—and the attitude required to make it a permanent way of life—is shifting your focus toward longevity.
In fitness, there is a temptation to rush. We see it in teenagers who add too much weight to the bar before their bodies are ready, or in the “crash diets” that burn out as fast as they start. My philosophy is different: Don’t rush the process. The key to staying in the game for fifty years and beyond is to run your own race. Whether you are an aspiring young athlete or an adult reclaiming your peak, my goal is to provide the blueprint for a lifetime of fitness—training not just for next month, but for the next decade.
